Biography

Sky Palace is a singer-songwriter and performing artist hailing from Sonoma County, CA. She plays ukulele and guitar, singing with a very earthy voice that can change from soulful to ethereal at a whim. She is also an accomplished dancer and actress as well as teacher and believes the arts are the best way to heal communities and create social change. 

Skylaer was always drawn to singing and dancing as a child. After graduating from high school at the age of 16, Skylaer went to college and won the title of Miss Sonoma County during her junior year. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and Performing Arts. After college she began pursuing a career as both an artist and teacher. Skylaer continues to be an advocate of the arts, education, and social justice. In 2020, she became the first Black or Latina woman to be elected to her home town of Healdsburg’s City Council. Creatively, Skylaer has released her debut EP, Juke to my Uke which she wrote and composed primarily on her own. Skylaer continues to simultaneously pursue her other talents of dancing, modeling, and acting, as well as teaching children to sing and dance.
